Global Warming Definition

What is global warming?

Global Warming is the biggest issue that the whole world is facing today. Basically, it is the increase in the earth’s temperature because of the increase of the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

On Earth, the major natural greenhouse gases are water vapor, which causes about 36–70% of the greenhouse effect (not including clouds); carbon dioxide (CO2), which causes 9–26%; methane (CH4), which causes 4–9%; and ozone, which causes 3–7%. The atmospheric concentrations of CO2 and CH4 have increased by 31% and 149% respectively above pre-industrial levels since 1750.

These gases accrued mostly because of the gas emission from cars, trains, planes and industries. So these gases are blocking the reflection of the sun waves from going outside our atmosphere, so unfortunately they come back to earth. That is why the heat is increasing. The increase in the temperature could reach a level, which will lead to many problems.
